Determining What Kind of Credit You Have
Your credit
rating is the number one factor that affects
the auto loan
rate you receive for your financing. Do you know what
kind of credit you have? We have outlined
the various different credit types below. In
addition to studying the information on this
page, we suggest that you obtain a
copy of your credit report before you
apply for an auto loan. Why? Because if
your credit score is less than expected, you
may want to look to improve your score
before you apply for financing; so that the
terms and rates you receive are more
favorable than if you don't look to better
your rating. Or there may be erroneous
information or even outdated information on
your credit report, that is adversely
effecting your credit score, and needs to be
removed.
If you credit is
not what you expected, or you have no
credit, you can learn information on how to
boost your
credit score.
